If you really love your pet, don't bring it here!!! This clinic only wants your money, I brought my cat due to vomiting and diarrhea, I did not want to pay $1159 dollars for a blood test and X-ray and they charged me $350 dollars for putting medicine on it without knowing what it had just for having it there for 2 hours, I returned with my cat sick and he sick the other 4 babies that I had. I am very angry because they do not give options and they are very discriminatory with Hispanic people they treated me like it was nothing and that does not matter but my cats do. 😡😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬🤬

My sweet puppy went in going septic in his stomach due to an internal stitch coming undone from a previous surgery at a different facility and they gave him a 40% chance at making it. Our primary vet referred us to AVES and they gave him a 50% chance of making it. Dr. Jeremy Fleming was amazing he preformed the surgery needed to give my puppy the best shot. My sweet boy got to come home after spending 4 days at this facility. The level of care he received was amazing. From the front desk staff to his team of Doctors, nurses and techs he was truly cared for and loved on. We live over an hour away and the staff was so kind they allowed us to FaceTime him. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Forever thankful we got our boy back 💙

We are so so so thankful that we came here. Kind compassionate ,flexible ,transparent non judgmental. Top of the line care from the people who greet you and answer the phone to the nurses
Doctor’s and surgeon’s. Everyone recognizes that you and your fur baby are scared and vulnerable. They take their time to examine your pet thoroughly, ask the questions and seek out the answers. I will never take my sick babies anywhere else. I can’t recommend them enough, and I’m beyond thankful for their kindness and expertise

My 5 year old husky, Habanero, has been seeing Dr. Stein in Oncology for his cancer since 2022. I’ve felt very confident in the decisions we have made for him in navigating a tough diagnosis.

This week we had palliative surgery on his facial tumor with Dr. Kallis and I’m so happy with the result! You can tell they gave my boy the best care; they send you pictures and messages while your dog is there for surgery. They even trimmed his nails & hair from between his paw pads free of charge!

I have worked in vet-med before, and still work in another leg of the pet industry. AVES is the best of the best. Thank you all for helping me to give my fur-kiddo more time with us ❤️

My sweet puppy Lexi broke her leg jumping and we were referred to Dr. Fleming. I feel like we lucked out and got the best orthopedic care in the country.. Dr. Fleming is hands down one of the best orthopedic surgeons, the surgery was immaculate, I received specific instructions for home care. Lexi is feeling so much better already and healing so well and it’s only Day 3 after surgery. The staff was so warm and compassionate towards Lexi.. I received pics with text updates at all points of the surgery process. We couldn’t ask for better care.

Our baby girl Hazel has been having some front leg pain. We were recommended AVES from our local vet in New Braunfels. After an investigation into her xrays and close inspection of her leg we are comfortable with Dr Fleming’s diagnosis. From front to back AVES is top notch!! Front desk, Nurse, Aids and the Doctor were super compassionate friendly and gentle with our baby. Hopefully we don’t need to be back but, if we do there will be no consideration of going anywhere else!

This place is absolutely overcrowded and they just want to take your money. My dog was showing signs of neurologic problems, and one of the staff members after examination said he was “milking” his symptoms in front of me and was not life-threatening so I had to go home. Truly unprofessional.

The doctors over at AVES diagnosed my dog with a minor neck sprain when in reality he was having meningitis in his spinal cord and needed to start antibiotics and steroids treatment as soon as possible.

My dog was at AVES for 6 hours and the neurologist never got to see him. They would not give me an appointment for an MRI until 2 weeks from the day I took him in. I had to go to another ER where they truly took my dog’s condition seriously and booked us for an MRI immediately after the consult. My dog is now recovering very well and getting better. If it wasn’t for this other emergency room, Pet Specialists Of Austin, my dog would’ve died because of lack of care at AVES.

I cannot express how happy I was with the care and hospitality we received while my fur baby was AVES. The entire staff was comforting and professional from the moment we walked in to triage to when we were dispatched. I brought my fur baby in for emergency treatment and he spend a 6 day stay at AVES recieving life saving treatment. He was released just in time for the New Year and he’s back to being his perfect happy self again.
