There aren’t enough words I could ever say that would be enough to say THANK YOU to the staff at this facility. I could not get my Rufus into my family vet in time and Four Seasons was closest to my home. I made a call and they immediately got me set up with figuring out what was happening with my sweet kitty. Unfortunately it was something that was severe and emergent, but they were incredibly compassionate in their approach of everything, and gave me options - never forcing one thing or another on me during a very confusing and difficult time as the owner. When it was time to say goodbyes to my best friend, they made sure we both were as comfortable as possible and gave me as much time as I wanted and needed with Rufus. They brought him treats, and even his favorite, warmed chicken! He went peacefully, comfortably and painlessly into his next life - surrounded by love and compassion. I cannot say thank you enough to every single person on that staff who helped me through this entire process. Each and every one of you made us both feel so safe and supported, and we are forever grateful for that, especially during the holiday season. I wish I could remember the names of everyone involved but THANK YOU to all of you SO much!!

My sweet Indi boy just spent 3 nights in the ICU here after smoke inhalation in our home. The entire team is phenomenal. Each doctor took time to connect with us and provide comfort. Even now that we are in our hotel, I called today with a million questions and they took their time to thoroughly answer everything. I am so grateful we were referred here and they saved my boys life. I will forever be grateful.

My dog suddenly and unexpectedly passed away early Thursday morning. We still rushed her to the emergency vet right away. The staff was quick to help us when we arrived. The veterinarian who assisted us, Dr. DeFilippo, was very kind and compassionate. They allowed us to come back a couple of hours later for another family member to say their goodbyes. The keepsakes they provided us with were very meaningful. Very grateful Four Seasons was available to help us with our beloved pet at the end. Thank you to every person who was working and helped us that morning. 💜

I spent $18,000 and several sleepless night here - and here is our story.

On July 3rd, my 38 lb dog Bella was up sick most of the night. By the 5th, she stopped drinking and eating so I took her to the closest ER. Bloodwork indicated pancreatitis. She was treated and seemed to get slightly better. On July 7th, she seemed to have relapsed so I made an appointment early on 7/8. She had an obstruction that caused a blockage and needed emergency surgery to save her life and this is when I came to Four Seasons. The estimate was $7500 on the low end. Complications led to more nights in the ER, a feeding tube, and a bit of a nightmare. Over the course of several days I had the absolute highs and lows, both good and bad experiences all at the same location.

The biggest frustration was that every 12 hours we had a new vet tech and a new vet. The challenging part is that we would finally get aligned on treatment and what care Bella needed and then the next time I came in, they had her on a different regiment, that was not what we had discussed during the previous shift. I found some vets here who are very caring - one even got on the floor in tears with me and my dog. I also found some vets here to be quite cold as well. So much so, that I had to consult the regular vet on when it was appropriate to speak up about some of the recommendations and information I was receiving. Like many of the reviews here, I found Danielle the tech to be an absolute godsend and I don’t think I would’ve kept my dog here if it wasn’t for her. Towards the end of my dog’s time there I had started getting very frustrated with some of the vets who did everything from telling me that I should put my dog down because she probably had cancer (all her biopsies came back benign by the way), to them increasing her medications after I clearly articulated that she has severe separation anxiety and needed to come home asap and be weaned off the heavy duty pain medications. I even had a vet give me incorrect information about the changes they had made to her medication’s (which I know because I had taken photos of her medical information the time I was there previously, perhaps a simple error on the vet’s part but concerning to me nonetheless and a point of frustration of revolving vets that perhaps could happen anywhere). A vet denied increasing her meds to me when I came in and my dog could not recognize me nor stand and was wetting herself uncontrollably. After being in complete tears and spending nearly $16,000, I also learned that what some people do is take their dogs to their regular vet during the day and only back to the er at night to save costs - so there’s a tip for you (as long as that does not stress out your pet more).

The good news is - my dog did have a very major surgery here to remove 18 inches of her intestine and the surgery seems to have went well. The reality was, following the surgery, my dog was declining at this hospital, And I had been encouraged on several occasions to put her down. I had made it clear that if I was going to do that, it was going to be in her home. After being home for several hours, she started pooping, eating, drinking, and overall getting better relatively quickly and I cancelled the in-home euthanasia appointment. It took several weeks for her to gain back the weight and she had a few neurological issues right after. Today she is back to 95% her normal healthy happy self with a touch of increased anxiety.

I’m very conflicted about this hospital. I think in part it really just matters who you’re seeing when you’re there. I think in my case overall they did good work and now I’m three months later with a dog that’s walking, eating, and doing all her normal things again. Overall, I am really grateful that my dog did have the surgery she needed, my girl was treated very quickly, Danielle was a light through all of it along with a handful of others as well, and I still have my girl by my side.

Took my pup in to the internal medicine department and they were extremely helpful in starting the process to determine the reason for her elevated liver enzymes. Dr. Aldridge took the time to explain the treatment plan and share potential complications/results. I was given an estimate and the cost of the CT scan is cheaper than anything I can find in the Denver area. Very professional and prompt with time.

My wife and I have a wrinkly puppy that suddenly developed a horrible fever and spiked heart rate, and we showed up to Four Seasons pretty shaken. The whole team was incredible not just with our little guy, but with us as well. Kindness and empathy are the standard at Four Seasons, and my wife and I were so blessed by them. And little Pudge is doing just fine!

This is the absolute best veterinary ER. Take it from someone in the know. As a veterinarian myself, this is the hospital I take my own animals to. Every member of the care team is incredibly compassionate. The level of care is stellar and honest. Cost is high (as all emergency / specialty are), but worth every penny. Thankful my babies have insurance.

We were recently in for an emergency due to my dog’s back. From the moment I called in to the moment we left we were taken care of. It’s scary needing to bring your beloved pet to an emergency vet but the whole staff was friendly, inviting, and updated us throughout the whole process. We appreciate everyone including the front desk, our vet tech, and Dr. Preston, who helped us at Four Seasons!
