I am beyond grateful to each and every person here. They handled Zeros emergency surgery beautifully, keeping us up to date, which in this field can be very hard, as well as having a vet stay after shift to perform his surgery. When we had to come back due to an allergic reaction, they not only helped Zero but helped me, as I had just had my treatment for my MS and was feeling very ill. Special shout out to Dr. Shaffer, Dr. Schrader, Dr. Miller and Dr. Korte!! As well, Zero sends his love to Aimee and thanks for loving him and Chris I can't thank you enough, all of you are true life savers!!!! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!!

We drove up from Pueblo on a Sunday. We expected a wait because this is not somewhere that you can schedule an appointment. Other pets in more critical condition arrived after us and understandably were seen sooner as they were more of a priority. We were there approximately 3 hours. A little pricey but we expected that as well since this was an emergency. They took great care of our Rocky and we felt that they genuinely cared about our pet. Gave good after care instructions and medication. Thank you for everything!

Let me start by saying I have worked in this field for a long time, and I had just moved to CO this last week so unfortunately I had not been able to establish a new vet for my fur babies just yet.

This place was able to get me and my sweet rabbit in for an emergency euthanasia. The care they provided from start to finish was excellent. I was very nervous since this was new to me being on the other side of the euthanasia, (not being the one to place his IV catheter, etc) the receptionist answered every question I had with patience and understanding, the technicians were beyond kind and compassionate and the doctor was wonderful as well. They gave me all the time I needed and I could tell they cared about the animals in their care. They answered every question I had and made this hard time as easy as they possibly could for us. So from the bottom of my heart thank you to the entire team. You are all amazing.

I have unfortunately been here more times than I’d like to admit but this most recent experience was the best experience I could have had, given the circumstances. Dr. Murrane & Dr. Driscoll saved my cats life. He was attacked this morning & was in bad shape. They were in surgery with him for hours. Not only did they provide him wonder care but they kept me updated in the process. They were nothing but caring & honest thought out the whole process. I have never felt so safe or cared for in such a hard time. Would absolutely recommend coming here. Even through all the care he was given, I felt it was a reasonable price. Honestly couldn’t give one thing that I wish was better.

We’ve visited Southern Rockies ER twice now and have been more than satisfied each time. Being at the ER with your fur baby is stressful as it is, but the staff here does an excellent job being compassionate, informative, and attentive. They offer options to consider for treatment and really work with you to explain and understand the benefits and cost of each. This is the only ER I’d recommend or bring my pups to.

I am so thankful for this place. The staff was fantastic. Could not ask for better people. The were concerned about my pets problems. Gave us up front pricing. Rugie and Remi had great care taken care of them. Thank you for everything you guys do and the love you have for the animals. Thank you Dr for helping them. Thank you nurse thank you receptionist. We drove from pueblo with our emergency and we were able to get care for both our animals. It was very busy. In addition to ours, someone brought in a dog that was found and the staff took a ton in helping that poor animal too. ❤️💙💚🩵

I just wanted to thank Dr. Sloane Miller and the entire staff of vet techs and front office staff for their compassion, empathy, and professionalism when seeing my cat Aggie last night. I had come from another vet appointment nearby for a possible UTI and was told that based on her body condition (without having any lab results back and after being told her bladder was empty per palpation) he was fairly sure she had renal failure and would not make it. I drove straight from there to the Southern Rockies Animal Emergency as I had been there prior and had always received excellent service. They brought me back to a room, took Aggie back to examine her to ensure she was stable first, and then Dr. Miller came in to see her. She is an amazing vet. She gave me options and we decided on bloodwork and a UA to see if we could determine what was going on. All of those labs were run in-house, with results back in 30 minutes. It turns out Aggie does have a UTI and her kidney values are normal, but Dr. Miller was also able to assist with medications for her vomiting and weight loss. Words alone cannot express how thankful I am to all of them for being there when I was told by another vet that she wasn't going to make it. Dr. Miller was kind and caring in her delivery, explaining that Aggie is elderly and there could be other underlying issues, but I've started her on all of her medications, and she's doing well this morning. Thank you...thank all of you so much.

We are so grateful to SRER. It was a matter of life or death. They saved our cat. They were caring, honest and respectful. On the financial side they worked with us to stay within our budget. We can't thank them enough!
