Don't bother with the FREE exam they offer. I moved and decided to try a new vet. This clinic is near my home and they offered a free exam. My dog is a senior and having some issues. The vet himself was kind. However, the cost of their shots is OUTRAGEOUS. You are paying for the exam thru the shots. They also would not refill a prescription my dog has been taking for years and told me I had to go thru the original vet that prescribed it. When I asked why - the vet just examined her and had all her previous records - it was mentioned that all I had was one exam and it was free. I definitely will not go back.

The staff were kind and I did get a free initial visit but spent $700.00 plus. The exam mainly consisted of looking at my cat’s teeth and saying they needed to be pulled which I declined. There was no feeling the cat, no temperature, no listening to heart. I really don’t consider that an exam. They had to have all these shots and blood test before neutering. I have very friendly cat who is basically happy and cooperative. When they brought him back from blood test he was traumatized and just staring straight ahead. I couldn’t wait to get my sweet cat out of there. I have had to have several cats that had to be euthanized in the past and they were great and so caring. I will never be back with a cat that needs care. Besides I would probably have to get a loan.

VCA pet doctor is one of the best vet clinics I have ever taken my Dog to. The staff is always kind and wiling to help with questions and both Dr.Manley and Dr.Carter are very helpful with the numerous questions I had. They were very patient when my dog Gus was not wanting to stay still and gave him plenty of loving and treats. I will be taking my dog here for future years to come and will be recommending this clinic to my friends and family.

I had a horrible experience with these people. I had to take in my dog due to an emergency and it was the closest vet that would take in emergencies. They charged me way too much I believe they take advantage of people when it comes to quick decision life or death. They charged me 1,700 dollars where I could’ve taken her somewhere else for 800 dollars. If I didn’t pay 1,700 they would have not done anything and let my dog die. They told me they would also take X-rays of my dog they lied to me they did not take the X-rays and told me they took X-rays and nothing was broken or any organs weren’t injured from the incident. I had doubts after my dog recovered I took her to another vet they took X-rays and told me she had 2 broken ribs and a broken shoulder. This place lied to me and just wanted money taking advantage of people when it comes to life or death. I wish they could give my money back because at the end they were dishonest and advantage taking and didn’t show empathy when I carried my dog in my arms bleeding and almost lifeless. If you want your dog to die and dishonest people then take your pet here.

Around August 2nd I had an appointment at 2pm. We weren't seen until nearly 4. The tech was unprofessional, and just wanted to clock out. I spoke to the vet for less than 5 minutes (this happened quite frequently too). Also, I did learn heart murmurs can be serous, despite the vet saying they weren't too bad at a grade two. My cat was geriatric and had a slightly enlarged heart with kidney disease. It should've been a big red flag... That and they didn't catch my cat losing her vision. They never once checked her vision, to be quite frank. Also Solensia does in fact have side effects! My cat has since passed away (this past Sunday) due to cardiac issues and fluid filing her chest actually. Had I have been warned about the seriousness and been given options about what do to I'm sure I'd still have my baby. Since Dr. Sharp left, this place has gone to crap. NEVER AGAIN!

Everyone there was very friendly and told me everything they were going to do than everything I needed to do at home for my cat Gordon. My cat Gordon even liked them he sat there while they examined him and purred while they were doing it. Usually he puts up a fuss and cries when we take him to the vet.
